How do I book a service?
Booking a service is simple:
  • Tap "Find a Pro" and describe the job you need done.
  • Our AI will match you with verified professionals in your area.
  • Browse profiles, read reviews, and select a pro.
  • Confirm your booking and pay securely through the platform.
  • Your contact details are shared with the professional once payment is confirmed.
The whole process typically takes under 5 minutes.
How does AI matching work?
When you post a job, our matching engine analyses several factors including your job description, location, required skills, timeline, budget, and the historical ratings of available professionals. It then ranks professionals most likely to be a great fit for your specific job — not just whoever is closest. The AI learns from completed jobs and ratings to continually improve its recommendations.
When do I pay?
Payment is collected upfront when you confirm a booking. Your funds are held securely in escrow and are only released to the professional once you confirm the job has been completed to your satisfaction. If the job is not completed, you are entitled to a full refund. Platform fees (12% of the job value) are charged at the time of booking and are non-refundable once a job begins.
Can I cancel a booking?
Yes. You can cancel a booking before the professional has begun travelling to your location for a full refund. Once the job is in progress, cancellations may be subject to a partial charge to compensate the professional for their time. To cancel, go to "My Bookings" in the app and tap "Cancel." What if I'm unhappy with the work?
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you're unhappy with the quality of work completed:
  • Do not release payment from escrow.
  • Tap "Raise a dispute" in the app within 48 hours of job completion.
  • Our team will review the evidence from both parties.
  • If the dispute is found in your favour, you'll receive a full refund.
In many cases, the professional will offer to return and fix the issue at no extra charge.
Are professionals insured?
Yes. Every job booked through PicknLink is automatically covered by up to BBD $1 million in insurance — at no extra cost to you. This covers property damage (up to BBD $500K), personal injury (up to BBD $500K), and theft or fraud (up to BBD $50K). See our Insurance page for full details.
How do I use emergency broadcast?
Emergency Broadcast is a feature for urgent jobs — such as a burst pipe, power outage, or blocked drain — where you need help fast. When you select "Emergency" as your job type, your posting is instantly broadcast to all available, verified professionals in your area who have the required skill set. Pros who are online and nearby will receive a push notification and can respond within minutes.
How do loyalty points work?
PicknLink Rewards gives you points for every BBD $1 spent on services through the platform (1 point per BBD $1). Points can be redeemed as credit against future bookings:
  • 500 points = BBD $5 credit
  • 1,000 points = BBD $12 credit
  • 2,500 points = BBD $35 credit
You also earn bonus points for leaving reviews, referring friends, and for your first booking of each new service category. Points expire after 12 months of account inactivity.

How do I join as a professional?
Joining is free and takes about 10 minutes:
  • Click "Join as Pro" and create your profile.
  • Upload your government-issued ID for verification.
  • Select your service categories and coverage area.
  • Submit to background check approval (typically 1–2 business days).
  • Once approved, your profile goes live and you start receiving job notifications.
There is no sign-up fee. You only pay when you choose to unlock a lead.
What is the lead fee?
A lead fee is a small payment you make to unlock a customer's contact details when their job matches your skills. This ensures that only genuinely interested professionals reach customers — reducing spam and improving the experience for everyone.
  • All plans: BBD $5 per lead
Lead fees are non-refundable if the customer does not respond, but they are refunded in full if the job posting is later found to be fraudulent.
How does payment work?
Customers pay for jobs upfront through PicknLink's secure escrow system. Once you complete a job and the customer confirms satisfaction, funds are released to your PicknLink wallet within 24 hours. From there, you can withdraw to your bank account or local mobile money wallet at any time. Minimum withdrawal is BBD $20.
What are the platform fees?
PicknLink charges a 12% platform fee on the job value. This fee is charged to the customer on top of your quoted price — not deducted from your earnings. For example, if you quote BBD $200 for a job, the customer pays BBD $224 (BBD $200 + 12%). You receive BBD $200 in full. You also pay your lead fee separately when you choose to unlock a customer's contact details.
How do I get more jobs?
The best ways to grow your job volume on PicknLink:
  • Complete your profile fully — professionals with complete profiles receive 3x more leads.
  • Respond to enquiries quickly — fast response times boost your search ranking.
  • Maintain a high rating — jobs that are rated 4.8★ or above are promoted in search results.
  • Upgrade to Pro Plus to appear at the top of search results with a featured badge.
  • Ask satisfied customers to leave you a review after every job.
What is the acceptance rate?
Your acceptance rate is the percentage of job enquiries you respond to within 2 hours. It is shown on your public profile and affects your position in search results. Professionals with an acceptance rate above 80% are prioritised in matching. If you're unavailable for a period, set your status to "Away" so you don't receive enquiries during that time.
How do I withdraw my earnings?
You can withdraw earnings at any time from your PicknLink Wallet in the app. Supported withdrawal methods include Barbados bank transfer, Scotia OnLine, and Bitt mobile money. Transfers typically process within 1–2 business days. There is no withdrawal fee. The minimum withdrawal amount is BBD $20.
Can I work across multiple islands?
Yes. If you offer services on multiple islands, you can set your service areas to include any islands where we currently operate. Your profile will appear in search results for all selected islands. You are responsible for your own travel costs between islands. Insurance coverage extends to all islands where PicknLink is active.
