Interested professionals pay a small lead fee (BBD $5) to signal genuine intent. This filters out spam and low-quality enquiries.

Only after payment does the pro receive your contact details. You can still block or report anyone who behaves inappropriately.

Common safety questions

Are all professionals vetted before joining?
Yes. Every professional on PicknLink must submit a valid government-issued ID and consent to a background check before their profile is approved. We reserve the right to remove any professional who provides false information or receives substantiated complaints.
What happens if a professional behaves inappropriately?
You can report any professional directly from within the app at any time. Our trust and safety team reviews all reports within 24 hours. Professionals found to have behaved inappropriately are removed from the platform and reported to the relevant authorities where applicable.
Will the professional know where I live before I hire them?
No. Your full address is only shared once you have confirmed a booking. At the job-browsing stage, only your general area (e.g. "St. Michael, Barbados") is visible to professionals so they can assess whether the job is within their service area.
Is my payment information secure?
All payments on PicknLink are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment processors. We never store your full card number on our servers. Payments are held in escrow and only released to the professional after you confirm the job is complete.
What should I do in a safety emergency?
If you feel unsafe at any point, leave the situation and call emergency services (911 in Barbados) first. Then contact our 24/7 emergency line via WhatsApp at +1 (246) 555-0100. We will log the incident, assist with your insurance claim, and remove the professional from the platform pending investigation.
