  • Intentional damage by the customer

How to make a claim

If something goes wrong, we make the claims process as simple as possible.

Contact Support Within 48 Hours

Notify us of the incident within 48 hours of job completion via email at hello@picknlink.com or WhatsApp at +1 (246) 555-0100. Include your booking reference number.

Provide Photos & Evidence

Submit clear photos or video of the damage, a description of what happened, and any relevant receipts for damaged items. The more detail you provide, the faster we can process your claim.

Review Within 5 Business Days

Our claims team will assess your submission, contact the professional for their account, and consult with our insurance underwriters. You'll receive a decision update within 5 business days.

Resolution Within 14 Days

Approved claims are paid out within 14 days of the decision via bank transfer or mobile payment. We'll guide you through every step of the resolution process.

Common questions

Do I need to purchase insurance separately?
No. Insurance is automatically included with every booking made through PicknLink. There is no extra cost, no forms to fill out before a job, and no policy to purchase. Coverage is active the moment a professional arrives at your property to begin the booked job.
Where is the insurance valid?
Our insurance policy covers jobs booked through PicknLink in Barbados. As we expand into other islands in the future, coverage will be extended accordingly.
What if the professional I hired was not through PicknLink?
Our insurance only covers jobs that are fully booked and paid for through the PicknLink platform. If you arrange work directly with a professional outside of the platform — even one you found through us — that work is not covered. Always book through the app to maintain your protection.
Who is the insurance provider?
PicknLink works with licensed Caribbean insurance underwriters to provide this coverage. Full policy documentation, including the name of the underwriter, is available upon request by emailing hello@picknlink.com. Our team will provide you with the full policy terms before any job begins if requested.
